About George Sanchez

As a former teacher and high school Principal, I realize the importance of having our students fully prepared for high school when they have completed the eighth grade. As your school board member, I will continue to ensure that our teachers and students have the tools and resources necessary to accomplish this goal.

My four children attended and graduated from schools in the Franklin-McKinley School District. I am very much aware of the importance of providing a solid educational foundation for our students at the elementary and middle school level. As your school board member, I have been a strong proponent of high academic standards, parent involvement, fiscal responsibility and effective staff development for our teachers.

I also believe that our schools should be a safe and comfortable learning environments for our students and school staff. Ensuring the safety of our students and staff should be our top priority. We must make certain that our students and staff should be our top priority. We must make certain that our students are educated in a safe environment. I am committed to working with fellow board members, our Superintendent, teachers, and school admisnistration to ensure that we provide the best possible education for our students.
